باب، که در اسپانیا، اسرائیل، انگلستان و ایالات متحده فیلمبرداری شده، بینندگان را به سال 1844 ایران باز می­گرداند هنگامی­که باب وحی خدا را تجربه کرد و وفاداری خود را اعلام نمود. این مستند توسط یانی کینگ ماندزچین (Mad Men, NCIS) شرح داده شده و با تجدید قابل توجه مقاومت و شکنجه پیروان اولیه او درهم آمیخته، مصاحبه­هایی هستند که با کارشناسان علمی از جمله دکتر جوی دی­گروی (نویسنده سندرم برده پس از ضربه)، نادر سعیدی (پروفسور مطالعات بهایی) و هنرپیشه بهایی راین ویلسون (The Office) انجام شده است.
